3 Blogging Myths You Shouldn’t Believe In

If you’ve decided to become a blog writer, there has to be a message you want to share with the world. Ideally, it needs to be the thing you have learn from your own experience.

And it doesn’t matter if this thing is making perfect vegetarian lasagna, bringing up good children, or growing spiritually. You may decide to start writing if you are good at anything other people might be unable to do well.

Blogging Myths That Are Hurting You

But do you face numerous obstacles to writing within yourself? Do you think that you’re not good enough to teach something to others? Do you find it hard to start a blog or think that you won’t be able to update it regularly? Or do you think that blog writing has no value? If any of the above mentioned things relate to your way of thinking, you have to know something. Those things are the myths that prevent you from becoming a successful blog writer. Let’s take a closer look at them.

3 common myths about blogging

  1. To start a blog, I need to be an expert. No, you do not need to. If you’ve been through a hard divorce, you know how to overcome it better than anyone who has read a lot of literature about it. If you can share your personal experience with others, you don’t need to have a university degree in this experience. Good mothers do not have degrees in motherhood and most good cooks were not taught cooking in college. Just share and help others become better at something.
  2. Blogging has no value. Actually, placing a connection with someone is invaluable. The same is with establishing trust with others and expressing yourself. No comments needed.
  3. No one cares about blogs. You may think that your story is a cliché that won’t interest anyone. But you never know. There are hundreds of people out there who have got in the similar situation as you have and they need someone’s advice. Give this advice to them. If it helps even only one person, it is worth it.

Do you still think that you cannot become a good blog writer? Then think again. We talk about multiple problems every day. We read about them on the internet. We watch shows about them on TV. But some of these problems, such as racism, inequality, betrayal, etc, remain for centuries. Why so? Maybe, that’s because most people do not speak up, thinking that they cannot help? And what would happen if everyone spoke up? Wouldn’t it put an end to most of these problems? Think about it and remember that you are the only person who can speak for yourself. You can – and you need to – share your story with others. Whatever this story is, you surely can help other people.
